Team Damis Reaching International Markets

One of Team Damis’ featured agents, Marie Scarpulla, recently received the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) from the National Association of Realtors (NAR). CIPS designees have undergone specialized training to complete global transactions seamlessly and with reduced risk, helping to serve clients in over 45 countries around the world. This exciting development has allowed Team Damis to reach international markets, with Marie’s regions of specialization in North America and Western Europe; furthermore, her countries of specialization include the U.S.A. and Italy.

When Marie Scarpulla visited her grandparent’s town in Italy in 2017, she rediscovered her love of all things Italian. She sees a viable connection between the established Italian-American community in Philadelphia, the fast-paced growth in the Philadelphia real estate market, and the elegant Old-World culture of Italy. Her international business includes U.S. citizens investing in Italy and overseas, European investors purchasing in the U.S., and recent immigrants unfamiliar with U.S. transaction practices. At home, Scarpulla focuses on opportunities in Center City Philadelphia real estate. The foundation of her sales experience is in residential and mixed-use redevelopment in urban settings. As a professional Realtor and Investment Real Estate Broker her mission is to use her years of experience to make the process of selling and buying property as easy and rewarding as possible. She aims to help her clients fulfill their real estate dreams. Affiliated Organizations -- National Association of Realtors Italy America Business Council and Network American Friends of Italy.

An article written by Marie was featured in the Mid Atlantic Real Estate Journal to further highlight the impact that a CIPS designee can have in a team, and why the designation may prove increasingly important as we move towards an increasingly globalized market.
